The Navajo Trading Post & Zoo
A Rare Glimpse Into Bridgman's Past
Step back in time and discover a remarkable chapter of Bridgman, Michigan's history.
Beginning in the 1930s, Mac and Marney Magavern operated the Navajo Trading Post & Zoo, an unusual local attraction remembered for its animals, its fascinating stories, and its place in the community.
Today, the Navajo name lives on at D'Agostino's Navajo Bar & Grille, where our family tradition has continued since 1955.
